The scientific evidence is finally out! You hurt your productivity by more than 50% while trying to block all the distractions from working in open space .
What about working with an 'open floor' mind? Lots of thoughts and problems buzz around while you try to concentrate on one thing. Put them down on paper; make a list! Choose one, isolate it and start working. Once you are done, cross it off the list and go on to the next task.
